Ontec Oy carried out a renewal of fuel handling, distribution, and maintenance systems at the airport in Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The project included Ontec software and data processing systems. The compact project was completed in eight weeks according to the original plan.
Achieving the requirements set by the nature of the project and the delivery location on such a fast schedule was made possible by Ontec software products, which are ready-made modules for customer-specific additions. In the initial software specification of the project, the customer’s special requirements were reviewed, and the modules were customized to meet these requirements. The operating model is fast and cost-effective. Ontec product modules are designed to work either individually independently or as multi-software packages. Integrations with existing systems are easy through extensive interface possibilities. The configuration, software specifications and production of the Greenland project were handled in Finland and the last week in Kangerlussuaq was spent implementing the system and training local staff.
