The ISO 9001 standard and its requirements are the world’s most widely used tool for building and developing companies’ quality management systems. Its strengths are comprehensiveness and continuous development. The global recognition and appreciation of the standard provide companies with a natural way to demonstrate the quality of their operations across borders.
The standard considers the company’s operating environments, strategy, and operating methods, which lead to customer satisfaction through high-quality products and services. Ontec Oy has been certified as a quality system for potentially explosive areas since 2005 and ISO 9001 certified since 2012. The ATEX certificate is related to the OnatexHeat product, which is a trace heating control system located in potentially explosive areas. The system is suitable for trace heating controls in both normal and potentially explosive atmospheres, which is why its properties are carefully regulated and monitored. Both ATEX and ISO 9001 quality management systems are audited annually, and the certificate is valid for three years at a time.
Since 2005, the quality management system has been developed purposefully to meet the company’s goals, changes in the operating environment and customer satisfaction.
The ATEX audit was carried out with the accuracy of the instrument from start to finish at Ontec’s premises in August 2023.
Ontec Oy is certified by Eurofins Expert Services Oy and Eurofins Electric&Electronics Finland Oy.
